أكدت حركة التحرير الوطني الفلسطيني “فتــح” دعمها الكامل للمعلمين ووقوفها بجانبهم في صون حقوقهم، وقالت الحركة: إن المعلم الفلسطيني جزء لا يتجزأ من النضال الوطني لشعبنا في التصدي لكل مؤامرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي والتي تهدف إلى تهويد الأرض وتزوير التاريخ وكل محاولات الهدم والتفريغ للعملية التربوية .
جاء ذلك في بيان أصدرته مفوضية الإعلام والثقافة في الهيئة القيادية العليا لحركة فتح في المحافظات الجنوبية، وفيما يلي نص البيان:-
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
قال الله تعالى: ﴿ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَالَّذِينَ لا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴾ [الزمر:9].
معلماتنا الماجدات معلمونا الأفاضل في كل أرجاء الوطن
إنها لمناسبة عظيمة أن نطير فيها أجمل باقات الورد والتحية والتقدير لكم ، فأنتم شعلة الثورة وسر الانطلاقة , كيف لا وأنتم امتداد للرواد الأوائل ، أمثال الشهداء الأبطال خليل الوزير صلاح خلف وأحمد ياسين والأخت المناضلة زينب الوزير ورئيس دولتنا الرئيس محمود عباس هؤلاء هم من بدأو مشوارهم النضالي بالتعليم فكانوا جذوته ، يوم المعلم الفلسطيني الذي يصادف يوم غد الخميس الموافق 14-12-2017 متصادفاً مع الهجمة الإسرائيلية الأمريكية شرسة علي شعبنا الفلسطيني وقضيتنا وأقدس مقدساتنا وأطهر بقاع الأرض القدس العاصمة .

إن المعلم الفلسطيني جزءً لا يتجزأ من النضال الوطني لشعبنا في التصدي لكل مؤامرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي والتي تهدف إلي تهويد الأرض وتزوير التاريخ وكل محاولات الهدم والتفريغ للعملية التربوية ، تعرض فيها المعلم الفلسطيني لأبشع وسائل القمع والتنكيل إلا أنه مثل نموذجاً وطنياً في الصمود ، وحقق إنجازاً في ترسيخ أسس العملية التربوية والتعليمية الوطنية ، رافضاً أية وصاية أو تبعية لها منذ سبعينيات القرن الماضي . لقد تخطي المعلم الفلسطيني دوره في التربية والتعليم ، ليلعب دوراً اجتماعياً ونضالياً منذ نكبة فلسطين عام 1948، في الحفاظ علي الهوية والثقافة الوطنية الفلسطينية من الاندثار والطمس والتهويد ، ولم يخضع المعلم الفلسطيني للسياسات والضغوط التي حاولت فرض مناهج ومعارف داخل المدارس ، من خلال دوره المحوري في المقاومة الشعبية خلال الانتفاضة الأولى عام 1987 في تنظيم التعليم الشعبي الذي كان عوضاً عن إغلاق المؤسسات التعليمية من قبل الاحتلال .

إن حركتكم حركة التحرير الوطني الفلسطيني ” فتح ” تدرك عظم الدور والمسؤولية الملقاة علي عاتقكم وحافظةً لجهودكم ، فما هذه الألوف المؤلفة من أولادنا وفلذات أكبادنا إلا غراس رويتموها بماء علمكم فأثمرت وفاضت علماً ومعرفة ، ومن هنا تؤكد الحركة على دعمها الكامل لكم ووقوفها بجانبكم في صون حقوقكم .

إلى تلك الأيادي والعيون والقلوب التي تحرس فلذات أكبادنا لساعات تطول إلى أكثر من نصف النهار، لكل معلم ومعلمة عملوا ويعملون في ظروف قاهرة ويتحدون كل الصعاب من اجل زرع بذور البناء والعلم والتحرر من قيود الجهل ليؤسسوا لمستقبل أفضل للأجيال ، اقل ما نقول لهم سلمتم وسلمت سواعدكم وعقولكم وكل عام وانتم بألف خير ، فلقد صدق فيكم قول الشاعر أحمد شوقي :
قُـم لِـلـمُـعَـلِّمِ وَفِّهِ التَبجيلا كـادَ الـمُـعَـلِّمُ أَن يَكونَ رَسولا………… .
أَعَـلِـمتَ أَشرَفَ أَو أَجَلَّ مِنَ الَّذي……. يَـبـنـي وَيُـنشِئُ أنفسا وعقولا .
ومعاً وسوياً حتى إقامة دولتنا الفلسطينية وعاصمتها القدس الشريف
وإنها لثورة حتى النصر حتى النصر حتى النصر

Our glorious and great teachers all over the homeland
It is such an opportunity to send the most beautiful flower bouquets and appreciation to you. You are the torch of the revolution and the secret of the starting off. You are the successors of the first pioneers; like the martyrs Khalil Alwazir, Salah Khalaf, Ahmed Yasin, and Zainab Alwazir, and our state President Mr Mahmoud Abbas. All of them started their career as teachers so that they became its firebrand. The Teacher’s Day- tomorrow , Thursday 14\12\2017- comes in shade of the offensive Israeli- American attack on our Palestinian people, our cause and the purest place on Earth – Jerusalem the Capital.
The virtuous and distinguished teachers
The Palestinian teacher is a part of the Palestinian national struggle of our people in order to confront the Israeli Occupation conspiracies which are aiming to Judaizing the land and forging the history, and to confront all attempts to demolish and empty the educational process. During that, teacher were subject to the suppression and abuse, however he has become the national example of firmness, and has accomplished achievements in establishing the bases of the national educational and learning process refusing every guardianship since the 1970s.
The virtuous and distinguished teachers
the Palestinian teacher exceeds his role in teaching and education into the social and the struggling role since Palestine catastrophe (Nakba) in 1948. This role was to protect the national Palestinian identity and culture from disappearing and effacing. Moreover, the teacher has refused the policies and pressures that tried to impose some curriculums and knowledge inside schools. Besides, his central role in the public resistance throughout the first intifada that was to organize the public education instead of the closed educational institutes by means of the Occupation.

The Palestinian Liberation Movement – Fatah(your Movement) awares the huge role and great responsibility on your shoulders and preserves your efforts. All these thousands of our beloved children are only your plants that are watered by your knowledge, thus they become fruitful with a lot of knowledge. From this place, we would like to reassure our fully support and standing beside you in protecting your rights.

To those hands, eyes and hearts that guard our darling children for more than the half of the day; to every male and female teachers worked and are still working within terrible circumstances challenging all difficulties to sow the seeds of construction, knowledge and liberation against the illiteracy chains to establish better future for the generations; we say thank you and we appreciate your arms and minds, and have a happy Teacher’s Day. As the poet Ahmed Shawqi says:
Stand up for the teacher and glorify him
He could have been a messenger.
Did you know nobler or most honorable than
Who builds and creates souls and minds?
Together and jointly to establish our Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital
And it is a revolution until victory , victory , victory
